Total export output reached 653.8 thousand tons. Export turnover reached US$ 1.1 billion, an increase of nearly 2.7 times in production (up 245 thousand tons) and an increase of almost 3.9 times in turnover (up US$ 868 million) compared to the same period in 2022.

Some product groups, such as seafood, fruits, and coffee from Vietnam, are among the ten largest exporting countries to China. Many products, such as pangasius, basa fish, squid, dragon fruit, lychees, and cashew nuts, account for an almost absolute market share in volume and import turnover.

Of which, the seafood group is estimated at US$ 7.45 billion, down 20.5%; Forest products are estimated at US$ 11.65 billion, down 19.3%; Production inputs are estimated at US$ 1.64 billion, down 20.3%.

The agricultural products group alone is estimated to reach US$ 21.94 billion, an increase of 17% over the same period, and the export value of the fruit and vegetable group is estimated to reach US$ 4.91 billion, an increase of 78.9%; Rice exports are estimated at US$ 3.97 billion, up 34.9%; Cashew nut exports reached US$ 2.92 billion, an increase of 14.8%.

In addition, the export of livestock products is estimated to reach US$ 402 million, up 22% over the same period.

The export price of rice alone is estimated at US$ 558/ton, up 15.3%, and coffee at US$ 2,527/ton, up 10.3% over the same period last year.
