The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has recently announced a capital investment plan for Australis Holdings, Inc. (AHI), which headquarter is in Vietnam. Accordingly, ADB committed to finance USD 15 million for a project to grow seaweed and raise Asian seabass in a manner adaptive to climate change.

In addition, through the Climate Innovation and Development Fund (CIDF), ADB will also provide an additional USD 3 million in funding to support AHI's recent commitments to support sustainable economic development and carbon emission reduction in Southeast Asian countries.

AHI's climate-adaptive Asian seabass and seaweed farming project aims to promote diversity in marine ecosystems, increase production of high-quality protein in Vietnam's seafood industry, and at the same time improve Vietnam’s resilience capacity to climate change.
